Ronnelle is in her fifties. In 2020, she was diagnosed with AML leukaemia and given just a 6% chance of surviving the next 48 hours. What followed were months of intensive chemotherapy and an extraordinary turn of events — her sister in Australia was found to be a perfect bone marrow match, a true miracle that saved her life.

Ronnelle has been cancer-free since 2023. Since then, she has launched the Be Positive campaign and authored Cancer Saved My Life, using her story to inspire hope and resilience in others facing serious illness.
