Gail is a 52 year-old Cancer survivor. 

Starting out in 2020, her illness became what Gail describes as “an emotional rollercoaster ride”. Life had completely changed course for her, entering hostile and unknown territory. 

In just a few short weeks after being diagnosed with stage 2 Hormonal Breast Cancer, Gail had to have a mastectomy of her right breast. 

Already reeling from the diagnosis alone, the prospect of surgery lay looming ahead like a dark tunnel. 

Gail knew that she had to pass this test of her strength. She’d entered a destructive battleground. Fight was all she could do. With every fibre of her being. Physically and mentally. She was at the frontline not only for her own sake, but also for her friends and family. Their love had always been her greatest reason for living.

In the coming months Gail rapidly developed an unbreakable will to survive. Her beloved friends and family became her fortress. The source of strength that fuelled her resistance to every physical attack. And the only solace in her weakest moments.
